Hope is energising. With hope, we try. If we still think there is a chance we hold on to that. If we don’t, we don’t bother. The reason I write this is there is a cheeky clock in Victoria, London that remains on 10.54 (I just realised it never changes) and everytime I am on route to catch a coach out of London I look at it and think “okay… I still have 6 minutes, I can make it”… even if it’s not 11oclock that I’m travelling, at that moment all I see is the 6 minutes (yeah… a little bit nuts I know)! If I knew that I only had three minutes, I may not have bothered. Always have hope. Always think there is a chance.
