Don’t do what you do because you’ve always done it. Do it and be aware of your doing it, how and why. Routine can take away experience if you are not mindful. Then it FEELS like you are just doing because that’s the way it’s been done for the time you’ve been doing it that way, and you get (as we all do) caught up in the common phrases used such as “that’s just me”, and “I’m used to it” and so on. Things become outdated – even things that were once the greatest thing we could have been doing for ourself – and we need to reflect, review and refresh. In other words, we need to check ourselves… and in other, other words, we need to ‘av a word!
